BETTER…STRONGER…FATTER!
Along with the Behemoth II's new look is a new and improved circuit....🦏
While overall I have been very happy with the Behemoth II's circuit-ical performance I felt like it could do a better job at what it already does if I revisited it's internal architecture and did some fine tuning......
The result is a Behemoth II with more headroom, which means more clean-ish boost power, more dynamic range and more harmonic transistor clipping, this is especially noticeable when using CLIPPING VOICE 1(clipping voices 2 and 3 use some amount of diode clipping) which is the clipping voice that gives you that classic, 70s style cranked bass tube amp breakup. The overall effect of the modification is subtle but also definitely noticeable in a "can't quite put my finger on it, it just sounds better" kind of way.
